Terms and Conditions

These generic terms and conditions apply to all work undertaken by Rural & Web. By contracting us to design your site, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Payment Terms

• Quotes are valid for 30 days only.
• We require a 25% deposit before undertaking work for new clients.
• Additional work will be charged at our standard hourly rate, minimum 1 hour.
• Cheques payable to Surestate Ltd, within 30 days.
• Invoices must be paid within 30 days from the tax date shown on the invoice. Invoices that are more than 45 days overdue for payment will be charged interest at 2% per month on the full outstanding amount, and applied retrospectively to the tax date of the invoice.

Content

In quoting for your website, we assume that you will supply all written content promptly. Ideally it should arrive as a Word doc in advance of us commencing the actual design work. If the project is delayed because we are waiting for material to be supplied by you, it will most likely increase the overall project cost.




Deadline

If you have a very tight turnaround time for a new website, the cost we quote may rise to reflect the fact that we will hire in extra staff to ensure it gets delivered according to your deadline.

Hosting

Rural & Web offer hosting services. This is a small annual charge that we will bill for on top of the design in year 1, and then invoice for each subsequent year as long as your site is live. Typically £150 p.a.

Domain names

It costs us to register your domain name. UK domestic domains (.co.uk or .net) are slightly cheaper than international domains (.com). Typically £20 /£30 respectively p.a.

Custom Photography and illustration

If your site needs custom photography or illustration we are happy to provide this service at an additional cost per hour. Please contact us with specific enquiries.
